Vernal is about crafting beautiful web sites and campaigns that help make our world a better place. Our design philosophy is that web-based projects should be accessible, simple, and above all, elegant.
For the time being we are a cobbler with worn out shoes. We’ll work on fleshing out our own site as we settle in for the winter. In the meantime you should check out our work. It speaks for itself. If you like what we do get in touch to see how we can change the world together.

Our first project with Floatleft. They took care of the Drupal implemenation, we handled the branding and design. A very nice community driven video site.
- River Arts of Vermont
A simple Wordpress site for one of the best arts organizations in Vermont.
- Vermont Compost Company
Using Wordpress as a CMS, we created this Whole Earth Catalog inspired site for a good neighbor.
- Craft Emergency Relief Fund
A Wordpress CMS-driven site for a great local non profit. Nice folks.

- Center for Justice
The Center came to us for a redesign and CMS solution for their advocacy work in Spokane, Washington. It has some nice flash video worked in, lots of interesting publishing features, and a squeaky design.
- Saving Paradise
A small Wordpress powered site for our friends at Beacon Press. Features some interesting gallery functionality.
- Furthur Foundation
A quick one-pager for a good friend.
- MaintainIT Project
A collaboration with good friend Floatleft. We did the design and they did the Drupal backend.

A nice Wordpress based site for some good folks here in Vermont. Simple, clean, quick.

Post and share ringtones about the 2008 US election - for FREE. Oh wait, that’s over with and it went beautifully.
